Description:

This extraordinarily ornate sundial is dated 1719. Comprised of dressed stone, as a tall square pedestal on stepped base.

Inscription ‘IMC/1719/ M.N.C./1830’.
Notes:

Erected first at Otterferry (Ballimore) by Rev. John Campbell.
Brought to Ormidaleby Colonel Burnley Campbell, husband of
Margaret Campbell of Ormidale, when he sold Ballimore 1897.
