The Red River spans through the communities of Colintraive and Glendaruel, and boasts a population of approximately 125 people respectively.

Residents form a small community, with 15 children on the school roll, and 3 in the Pre-5 unit, our own community forest, a right to buy our hotel, and a number of accommodation businesses at the heart of the Cowal Way – all within 2 hours of the hustle and bustle of Glasgow’s Sauchiehall Street!

The Red River Communities are fantastic areas to visit, for a day away, or a well-deserved break!
