Successful Communicators
One key aspect to our project is to connect living memory within the community, reaching older generations and connecting them to younger generations, showing how the ebb and flow of people over the years hold the knowledge of what life was once like, and what life here has the opportunity to become.
Three key aspects of this research, working with the children in the school, has been;
- to collect local stories
- interview local people
- to collate the Glens family trees
Interviews with the Children
- About Glen of the Red River:
- Farming in the Glen:
- Vikings, Monks and Blood:
- Some Bests of the Glen:
With the help of Mrs Senga McKay, the children developed and practiced their interview techniques.
